Second Grade - Printmaking Books 

 In this unit, students explored the theme of “collaboration” through printmaking. Students created gelli plate monoprints as a class. They used these prints to create collage books, cutting the paper and drawing into the designs to make unique artworks with their class's prints. This unit contributes to the culture of the classroom encouraging collaboration and by challenging the idea of ownership.
